A process-driven method for service collaboration which entails the development of business processes to control interaction among services. Unlike choreography, which provides a view “from the outside” (see Choreography), orchestration describes the individual steps taken by a business process, i.e. the view “from the inside”, in order to invoke the various services used in executing the process and to coordinate their operations.
