An event is a period of time during which one or more types of content is displayed on the channel. Examples include: • Single event: playback of a program segment that is uninterrupted. • Single event: playback of a non-program type content (commercials). • Single event with no duration: turning on the tower lights at dusk. • Single event with no duration: the generation of a commercial cue tone. • Multiple events: playback of a promotional message at the end of a movie while the credits are rolling.
