ADM Webex - transition to phase 2 and IBC, Friday 11 May 2012

PHASE 1

Still waiting for reference implementation expected on May 18th

Loic to discuss with IBM to obtain a better description of what it will containe Important to get this soon in order ot meet importantdeadlines such as review by AMWA and EBU, and also IBC

PHASE 2

Next steps:

- BB webex week starting May 13, invitation to be sent with objective to finalise the repository requirements doc and priorities -> Then publish requirements on the wiki !!

- TB-BB joint webex on May 24th at 9am EST, 15:00 CET (JPE to send invitation)

- TB F2F meeting on 5th-6th June (starting at 9am each day, arrive 30' early on day 1 to follow security procedure) - start of specification work (JPE organise the webex)

Working procedure and relation to Phase 1:

- main issue - take care of assessing impact of phase 2 changes on base specifications

- ensure that extension and new capabilities work with existing services

- the product owner will be reponsible to monitor the impact of changes between existing and new functionalities

- Actions: define owners for the base specification and for the new parts with respective roles well defined


IBC 2012

- IBC 2012 - paper

- EBU Village demo for FIMS

- Workflow village - vendor driven -> out of FIMS scope - not clear yet - possible joint annoucement of FIMS 1.0 and reference software implementation?


OTHER BUSINESS

- AMWA particpation agreement and IPR - still work in progress but FIMS will remain compensation free

- We need a page for the wiki explaining the new working structure within FIMS (BB, TB and their relation, etc.)

ACTION: Giorgio to draft a page for the wiki

- JP to organise a page for ADM discussion on work organisation and nomination procedure of product owners for existing and new specifications

ACTION: all members of ADM to contribute
